This is my story and I'm sticking to it.

For over 30 years technology has been my passion. I have benefited from this in my personal and professional life. I bring a commitment to excellence with everything I do. My goal is always to give 110% while helping others reach their goals.

I started working with fire and burglar alarm systems in the early 80’s while attending electronic technical school. This led to a career in energy management, heating and cooling in the mid 80’s to the early 90’s.

With my growing interest in technology I was encouraged by my family to pursue that as a profession. I landed a computer sales job in the early 90’s. I went on to become a top salesperson that eventually grew into a management position. The early 00’s were tough in that industry and eventually pushed me towards a more technical position.

What is the difference between a salesperson and a technical person? When a sales person walks into your door you ask “what do you want?” When a technical person walks into your door you say “thank goodness you are here!” A slight ego difference.

I have extensive experience in technology as it relates to business objectives. I get the big picture when it comes to implementing technology. During my sales career I had written many ROI’s to help business’s realize the benefit a new technology could bring to their bottom line.

I am a lifelong learner. I am always seeking the next great opportunity to improve myself. I have a hunger to continually learn new things and keep up with the latest trends.

In 2000 I manufactured and sold one of the world’s first high resolution DVD players. It scaled DVD’s to near Bluray quality before Blurays were even invented. I gained a vast amount of experience with this project. As a sole proprietor I was responsible for all aspects of sales, design, manufacturing, distribution and accounting.

My idols are Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. How I wish I was born near Silicon Valley and had a few of the breaks that these gentlemen were afforded. I’m not saying I could have accomplished what they did, but being there at that time in history would have been amazing.

I currently work for Ruder Ware law firm in Wausau, Wisconsin. A great place to work and an even better place to live. I grew up in a large metropolitan area and really appreciate the friendly people, safety and quiet of a small community.

Recently my efforts have been focused on the areas of vendor negotiations, server virtualization, process improvement and project management.
